The Vegan Burger recipes you tried were disappointing? Here is the perfect recipe! The texture of this Veggie Burger is impressive, its taste is great, and it’s so easy to prepare!

This is another easy recipe. You just need to chop some vegetables, mix them with the beans the rice and spices and that’s it! You can use the beans that you want in this recipe, such as red beans, chickpeas, but personally, I think it’s the black beans that work best.

I love it when I create a recipe and it is perfect on the first try. I had this black bean hamburger recipe in mind for a while . So one morning I’m woke up with the irresistible urge to eat it , I wanted a black bean hamburger so much that I was ready to eat it for breakfast  🙂   So as soon as the children left for school I went into the kitchen and start to put together this tasty burger.

In addition to being tasty I love this black bean burgers because they allow me to be creative and to vary the ingredients. I also prepare them in large quantities and freeze it An ultra-fast meals and appreciated with my children. Because we all know, when it passes the test with our little loves, we really feel awesome as a parent!

BLACK BEAN VEGAN BURGER

BLACK BEAN VEGAN BURGER

Ingredients

  • • 1 tsp olive oil
  • • ½ cup onion, diced
  • • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • • 1 cup spinach, finely chopped
  • • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • • ½ tsp sriracha sauce ( or more if you like spicy)
  • • ½ cup cooked brown rice
  • • 1½ cups black beans, drained and mashed
  • • ½ cup Panko breads crumbs
  • • 1 flax egg
  • • 2 Tbsp sunflower seeds minced
  • • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Drain the black beans well, but do not rinse them. The more they are drained, the better the burgers will stand. Pour them in a bowl.
  2. 2. Using a potato pestle, crush the beans to form a dough, but with some pieces remaining. It is therefore a question of half crushing them; the mixture should not be smooth.
  3. 3. Add onion, bread crumbs, egg, rice, hot sauce and spices, sunflower seeds and salt and pepper to bowl, mix well.
  4. 4. Form patties (4 larges or 8 smalls, depending on the number and size of the buns your using ) with your hands.
  5. 5. To cook, they can be boiled down with a little oil over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes on each side (depending on the size of the meatball). Alternatively, they can be cook in the oven on a baking sheet and baked at 375 ° F for 15 to 20 minutes.
  6. For the garnish, go with your inspirations of the moment!
