3 simply perfect ice tea recipes

I am a big consumer of tea I drink it warm in the winter or iced during the summer, tea is part of my eating habits. We find a multitude of benefits to drinking tea. Today I’m sharing three recipes I use regularly during the summer, they are all delicious and refreshing.


Mango iced tea (recipe for a pitcher):

  • 1 mango
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 6 tea bags of choice ( I prefer green)
  • 8 cups water
  • Ice cubes


  • Cut the mango into thin slices
  • Put the sugar and ½ cup water in a saucepan. Melt the sugar to create a syrup
  • Remove from heat, add the mango slices and let stand for 30 minutes
  • In the meantime brew tea bags in 2 cups boiling water.
  • Remove the mango from syrup
  • Also remove tea bags from the water
  • Mix the syrup into the infused tea
  • Add 6 cups water and ice


Raspberry Iced Tea (Ricardo recipe):

  • 8 cups water
  • 1/2 of sugar, to taste
  • 2 lemons, grated zest and juice
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 5 bags of red rooibos tea
  • fresh raspberries for garnish
  • Ice cubes


  • In a saucepan, bring 500 ml (2 cups) water, sugar, lemon and raspberries.
  • Remove from heat, add tea bags and let infused, Strain. Pour into a pitcher with the remaining water and refrigerated until the mixture has completely cooled.
  • Serve with fresh raspberries and ice.


Iced tea with lemon, cucumber and mint

  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 lemon
  • ½ cup fresh mint
  • 6 green tea bags
  • 8 cups water
  • Ice cubes


  • Infuse the tea bags in 2 cups boiling water
  • Cut the cucumber and lemon into slices.
  • After brewing tea, remove the bags and add 6 cups cold water
  • Add the cucumber, lemon and mint to the tea
  • Put in the refrigerator until
